About The Graduate School of Image Arts
As a result of the diversification in the visual image culture in recent years, there is a growing need for specialized advanced skills that can be applied to generalist education and various fields related to visual imaging. The Graduate School of Image Arts leverages all the benefits of Ritsumeikan’s organization as a comprehensive university to provide broad education, aiming to cultivate skills, techniques and analytical methodology related to visual image production (extensive beyond the making of visual image products and including development and application) and visual image studies as well.
